We offer two types of tandem axle utility trailer plans. Choose from the 8' wide or the 7' wide tandem utility trailer plans.

About Our 8' Wide Utility Trailer Plans

All of our utility and landscape trailer plans come with complete building instructions and materials list. They also include a free files  on installing electric brakes as well as the ramp gate plans. All of the 8’ wide utility trailer plans also include instructions for building the angle iron ramps.

 

The three largest 8’ wide tandem utility trailer plans are for heavy duty trailers with gvwr’s of 10,000#. The rest of the 8' wide trailers will have a gvwr of 7,000#.

 

The plans also give you the optional instructions for building the trailer with or without a dovetail. As well as the instructions for building the trailer with a wood deck or a metal deck, so you can choose what best suits your needs.

 

We show you how we saved over a thousand dollars on the cost of building our trailer.

 

 

About Our 7' Wide Utility Trailer Plans

 

Our 7 foot wide trailer plans have become very popular because they are a good sturdy trailer, easy to build and with two 3500# axles they have a gvwr of 7000# which is usually plenty for most folks.

The 7' wide utility trailer plans also come with the plans and instructions for building the 4’ ramp gate.

 

We have four sets of plans of 7' wide tandem axle utility trailer plans to choose from. You have a choice of the 12’, the 14’, the 16’ or the 18’. Our 7' wide trailer plans give you the option of taking advantage of a great deal on building your trailer from a trailer parts kit.

 

About The Trailer Parts Kit

 

The kit is only an option, if you would rather purchase the parts on your own or maybe you already have some of the parts you would like to use, that is fine. These plans give you complete step by step instructions for building the trailer including the materials list. The only reason we included the information for the parts kit in these plans is because we thought it might save you some money.

(14) 9/16 x 3 ½'' black iron grade 5 spring bolts with nuts
